RRB NTPC CBTST Admit Card: Don’t Miss These Details

A common mistake is downloading the admit card without checking the instructions.

1. Reporting Time
Your reporting time may be earlier than the actual examination time.
2. Exam Centre
Check the complete address and plan your journey in advance.
3. Roll Number
Make sure the roll number on your admit card is correct.
4. Photograph and Identity Details
Check whether your candidate information is correctly displayed.
5. Examination Instructions
Read every instruction printed on the e-call letter before leaving home.

RRB NTPC CBTST 2026: What Is the Typing Skill Test?

The Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST) is a skill-based stage of the RRB NTPC Graduate recruitment process for posts requiring typing proficiency.

For CEN 06/2025, the Graduate-level recruitment includes posts such as Senior Clerk cum Typist and Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, for which the typing skill test is relevant. Other posts in the same recruitment cycle have different skill-test requirements.

This distinction is important because not every RRB NTPC Graduate candidate appearing in the recruitment cycle necessarily takes CBTST.

Candidates should therefore check their CBT-II result/shortlist and individual examination information.

RRB NTPC CBTST 2026: 7 Things Candidates Should Check Before Exam Day

This section is worth keeping because it gives your article a useful “last-minute checklist” angle rather than simply repeating the admit-card announcement.

1. Download the e-call letter
Don’t depend on a screenshot or information from social media.
2. Check your exam centre
Search the centre location beforehand and plan your route.
3. Check reporting time
Arriving at the centre after the permitted reporting/entry time can create problems.
4. Carry the required identity document
Follow the identity-document requirements printed in your e-call letter.
5. Keep your admit card printout ready
Take a clear printout and make sure all important details are readable.
6. Practise on a computer
Since CBTST is a computer-based typing test, candidates should practise on a computer rather than relying only on mobile typing.
7. Read the language/instruction details carefully
Candidates should follow the typing-language selection and other instructions issued by RRB for CBTST. Current reporting on the September 2026 instructions states that the selected language is important and cannot subsequently be changed.

RRB NTPC CBTST Hindi or English Typing: Important Point

This is one of the better long-tail topics to target because candidates may specifically search for the typing-language rules.

The RRB instructions reported for CEN 06/2025 provide for English or Hindi as the CBTST typing language. Candidates who selected a language were expected to use that language for the test, and the published instructions stated that the option could not subsequently be changed.

Important: Candidates should follow the language shown in their official examination information rather than relying on social-media posts or unofficial advice.

Documents to Carry for RRB NTPC CBTST 2026

Candidates should check their individual e-call letter for the exact document requirements.

• Printed RRB NTPC CBTST e-call letter
• Original valid photo identity document as specified by RRB
• Any additional document specifically mentioned in the e-call letter
• Other certificates/documents, where applicable

Current information regarding the CBTST also reports Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication at the examination centre, so candidates should carefully follow the RRB instructions regarding identity verification.

🚫 What Should You Avoid Taking to the Exam Centre?

Candidates should not carry prohibited items.

Always follow the instructions printed on your individual e-call letter regarding:

• Mobile phones
• Smart watches
• Electronic devices
• Books
• Notes
• Loose papers
• Other prohibited items
