The recruitment includes 7 Technician (Skilled) and 7 Technician (Semi-Skilled) vacancies.
The DGQA Technician Recruitment 2026 is being conducted through an offline application process. Eligible candidates are required to submit the duly filled application form through Registered Post or Speed Post to the prescribed address of the Controllerate of Quality Assurance (Systems), Secunderabad.

DGQA Technician Selection Process 2026
The DGQA Technician Selection Process 2026 consists of a Written Test followed by a Trade Test. Candidates should note that there is no interview in the selection process. The final selection is made on the basis of performance in the written examination and Trade Test, subject to the applicable category-wise and establishment-wise merit.
DGQA Technician Written Test 2026
The written examination will consist of 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions carrying a total of 100 marks. The duration of the examination is 90 minutes. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

DGQA Technician Trade Test 2026
Candidates who qualify for the written examination are shortlisted for the Trade Test based on their written-test performance and the applicable category-wise reservation criteria.
The Trade Test carries 100 marks, and candidates must secure at least 40 marks to qualify. The Trade Test is an important stage of the DGQA Technician recruitment process because the final merit is prepared after considering the prescribed selection criteria for both stages.
DGQA Technician Final Merit List 2026
The DGQA Technician final merit list is prepared after completion of the Written Test and Trade Test. Merit is determined post-wise and establishment-wise, considering the candidates’ performance and applicable recruitment rules.

- If the tie continues, higher marks in Numerical Aptitude will be considered.
