AAI Apprentice Domicile Eligibility
Only Indian Nationals who are domiciles of the following States/Union Territories are eligible to apply for AAI Northern Region Apprentice Recruitment 2026:
Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Leh Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Passing Year and Other Eligibility Conditions
In addition to the educational qualification, candidates must satisfy the following conditions:
- Candidates must have passed their Degree, Diploma or ITI qualification in 2024 or after 2024.
- Candidates who have already completed an apprenticeship are not eligible.
- Candidates who have previously terminated an apprenticeship before completion are not eligible.
- Candidates who are currently undergoing apprenticeship training elsewhere or with AAI at the same qualification level are not eligible.
- Candidates having one year or more of apprenticeship/job experience after obtaining the essential qualification are not eligible, as per the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961.
- A candidate applying for more than one discipline will not be considered. Such applications are liable to be rejected.
AAI Apprentice Stipend 2026-27

AAI Apprentice Training Locations 2026-27
Under the AAI NR Apprentice Recruitment 2026, selected candidates will undergo one-year apprenticeship training at various Airports Authority of India (AAI) airports, stations and offices across the Northern Region. Candidates may be allotted a training location based on the requirements of AAI and the location selected/registered during the application process.

Important Note on AAI Apprentice Training Location
Candidates should carefully select their preferred/registration location while applying for AAI Apprentice Recruitment 2026. The Airport, Station or Unit allotted by AAI will be final, and requests for a change of training location after allotment will not be entertained.

- In case two or more candidates obtain equal marks, date of birth will be considered for determining seniority, followed by the date of passing the qualifying examination, as applicable.
- Document Verification
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification at the concerned AAI establishment/office.
- Information regarding document verification will be communicated through the candidate’s registered email ID.
- Candidates must produce the required original documents along with the prescribed copies.
- Interview / Certificate Verification
- Candidates may be required to complete the prescribed interview and certificate verification formalities, as applicable.
- The candidature of candidates will remain provisional until all eligibility and document requirements are successfully verified.
- Medical Fitness Certificate
- Selected candidates must submit a valid Medical Fitness Certificate at the time of joining.
- The certificate must be issued by a Government Medical Officer or a Medical Officer of a Government Undertaking, as prescribed by AAI.
- Final Selection and Engagement
- Final selection will be made after successful completion of document verification, medical fitness and other prescribed requirements.

AAI Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27 – Important Conditions
Candidates applying for AAI NR Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27 should carefully read the following important terms and conditions before submitting their online application:
- No application fee is required for AAI Apprentice Recruitment 2026.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview, document verification or any other recruitment-related process.
- Selected candidates must sign and accept the Apprenticeship Contract on the NATS/NAPS portal immediately after joining AAI.
- The apprenticeship contract will automatically cease after the prescribed 12-month training period. Any act of indiscipline or misconduct during the apprenticeship may result in cancellation of the contract.
