The RRB ALP Recruitment 2026 (CEN 01/2026) offers the post of Assistant Loco Pilot with a starting basic pay of ₹19,900 per month under Level-2 of the 7th Pay Commission. Along with the basic salary, candidates receive several allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance, Running Allowance, and Night Duty Allowance. Due to these additions, the gross monthly salary typically ranges between ₹26,000 and ₹42,000, while the in-hand salary after deductions is around ₹25,000 to ₹35,000 per month. The exact amount may vary depending on the city of posting and duty hours, especially because running allowance depends on train operations. In addition to salary, employees get benefits like free or concessional railway travel, medical facilities, and pension under the National Pension System (NPS). Educational Qualification
