SSB Constable Tradesman Recruitment 2026 – Salary Details

• The salary for the SSB Constable Tradesman Recruitment 2026 is based on Pay Level–3 of the 7th Central Pay Commission, with a basic pay starting at ₹21,700 per month and a pay scale ranging from ₹21,700 to ₹69,100.
• In addition to the basic pay, candidates receive several allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), transport allowance, ration money, medical benefits, and leave travel concessions. Including these benefits, the gross monthly salary typically ranges from around ₹23,000 to ₹30,000 or more, while the in-hand salary is approximately ₹20,000 to ₹25,000 depending on the place of posting and deductions.
• With experience and promotions to higher ranks like Head Constable or Sub-Inspector, the salary can significantly increase, reaching ₹40,000 to ₹60,000 per month or higher over time.

Educational Qualification

Constable (Veterinary):
• 10th pass with Science as a main subject
• Minimum 1 year experience in treatment of animals in a recognized veterinary hospital
Constable (Driver) – Male:
•10th pass from a recognized board
•Must have a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence
Constable (Gardener, Water Carrier, Cobbler, Tailor, Washerman, Barber, Waiter):
• Matriculation (10th) or equivalent
• Plus any one of the following:
• 2 years work experience in the respective trade, OR
• 1 year ITI/Vocational certificate + 1 year experience, OR
• 2 years diploma in the trade from ITI
• Must qualify trade test
• Multi-skilled candidates preferred
Constable (Carpenter):
• Matriculation or equivalent
• Plus any one of the following:
• 2 years work experience in the trade, OR
• 1 year ITI/Vocational certificate + 1 year experience, OR
• 2 years ITI diploma in the trade
• Must qualify trade test
Constable (Nursing Orderly):
• 10th pass
• First Aid certificate from recognized organizations (St. John’s Ambulance / Red Cross Society of India)
• Minimum 1 year experience in a 50-bedded government-recognized hospital

Age Limit (Post-wise)

Constable (Driver):
• 21 to 27 years
Constable (Veterinary, Carpenter, etc.):
• 18 to 25 years
Constable (Washerman, Barber, Tailor, Gardener, Water Carrier, etc.):
