UIIC AO Eligibility Criteria 2026
- Candidates applying for UIIC AO Recruitment 2026 must fulfil the prescribed nationality, educational qualification and age requirements.
- The required qualification must have been obtained on or before 30 June 2026 from a recognised university or institution. The qualification should generally follow the 10+2+3 pattern or an equivalent system.
- Candidates should also have working knowledge of computers.
Nationality
A candidate must satisfy the nationality/citizenship conditions prescribed by UIIC. Eligible categories include:
- Citizen of India
- Subject of Nepal
- Subject of Bhutan
- Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India
- Person of Indian origin who has migrated from specified countries with the intention of permanently settling in India

A percentage such as 59.99% will be treated as less than 60% wherever the minimum requirement is 60%.

Candidates selected for the Administrative Officer Scale I post will receive a basic pay in the scale of:
₹82,485 – 4,050 (14) – ₹1,39,185 – 4,390 (4) – ₹1,56,745
In addition to the basic salary, selected candidates will receive applicable allowances and benefits according to UIIC rules.

- The Preliminary Examination marks are not included in the final merit.
- There is a negative marking of one-fourth of the marks assigned to a question for each incorrect answer in the objective examinations.
