OSSTET 2026 Last-Minute Preparation Tips: How to Prepare in the Final Days

With the OSSTET 2026 exam scheduled for 30 September 2026, candidates should focus on smart revision rather than trying to study the entire syllabus again. The final days are best used for revising important topics, practising questions and improving time management.

1. Revise Important Topics First

Go through the topics you have already studied and revise the concepts that are frequently tested. Avoid spending too much time starting completely new chapters at the last minute.

2. Practise Previous Questions and Mock Tests

Solve previous questions and practice tests to understand the question pattern and improve your speed. After each test, review the questions you answered incorrectly and revise those concepts.

3. Make Short Revision Notes

Use concise notes, formulas, definitions and important points for quick revision. Avoid making lengthy new notes during the final days.

4. Focus on Your Weak Areas

Identify 2–3 topics where you are losing marks and give them additional revision time. At the same time, continue revising your stronger areas so that you do not forget them.

5. Practise Time Management

During mock tests, try to complete the paper within the prescribed examination time. Learn to move on from questions that are taking too long and return to them later if time permits.

6. Do Not Start Too Many New Resources

The final days are not the right time to switch between multiple books, YouTube channels, notes or preparation materials. Stick to reliable resources and the official OSSTET syllabus and examination information.

7. Check Your Admit Card

Once the OSSTET Admit Card 2026 is released, check your name, roll number, photograph, examination date, reporting time and examination centre carefully.

8. Plan Your Journey to the Exam Centre

Check the examination-centre address in advance and plan your route. If possible, estimate the travel time so that you can reach the centre comfortably before the reporting time.

9. Keep Required Documents Ready

Keep your printed admit card and required photo ID ready before the examination day. Also check the admit card for any additional documents or instructions specified by BSE Odisha.

10. Get Proper Sleep Before the Exam

Avoid studying throughout the night before the examination. A proper sleep schedule can help you remain alert and focused during the exam.

OSSTET Last-Day Checklist

Before leaving for the examination centre, make sure you have:

• Printed OSSTET Admit Card 2026
• Required original photo ID
• Any additional document mentioned in the admit card
• Required photograph, if specified
• Examination-centre address and route details
• Sufficient travel time planned

Final Tip: In the last few days, focus on revision, practice and accuracy instead of trying to cover everything from the beginning. Always follow the latest instructions printed on your admit card and issued by BSE Odisha.
