Indian Coast Guard Group C Eligibility Criteria 2026
The educational qualification and experience requirements are different for each post. Candidates should check the specific requirements for the post they wish to apply for.
- Store Keeper Grade II
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have passed Class 12 from a recognised board or university.
Experience:
One year of experience in handling stores in a recognised firm, Central or State Government organisation or Public Sector Undertaking.
- Engine Driver
Educational Qualification:
Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised board.
Required Certificate:
Certificate of Competency as Engine Driver from a recognised government institute or equivalent.
Desirable Experience:
Two years of service as Sarang on a vessel of more than 400 Boat Horse Power.
- Lascar

Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised board.
Experience:
Three years of experience in service on a boat.
- Civilian Motor Transport Driver

Candidates should have passed Class 10 or equivalent.
