The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the UPSC Recruitment 2026 notification for recruitment by selection to 212 vacancies under Advertisement No. 11/2026. UPSC Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess the prescribed postgraduate qualification in Anatomy, such as an applicable MS/MD/DNB qualification or other qualification specified by UPSC.

Pay: Level-11 of the 7th CPC plus NPA, as applicable.

- Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor – General Medicine
Age Limit: Up to 40 years for UR/EWS, 43 years for OBC and 45 years for SC/ST candidates, with applicable relaxation for PwBD candidates.
Educational Qualification: Recognised MBBS degree along with the prescribed postgraduate qualification in Medicine/General Medicine, such as MD/DNB.
Experience: At least 3 years of teaching experience in the relevant specialty after the first postgraduate degree. Experience as a General Duty Medical Officer/Medical Officer is not counted for this requirement.
Pay: Level-11 of the 7th CPC plus NPA, as applicable.

- Assistant Editor – Indian Bureau of Mines
Age Limit: Up to 30 years for UR candidates and 35 years for eligible SC candidates, with applicable PwBD relaxation.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism/Mass Communication, or a bachelor’s degree with Economics, Statistics or English along with the prescribed one-year diploma in Journalism/Mass Communication.
Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in editing and publishing with a publishing house, newspaper, news agency, publicity organization or government organization.
Desirable Qualification: Master’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Economics, Statistics or English and knowledge/experience of relevant publishing software may be desirable.

Educational Qualification: Recognised medical qualification along with the prescribed postgraduate degree/diploma in Anaesthesiology.
