RRB NTPC Graduate Recruitment 2026 – Selection Process

The selection process for RRB NTPC Graduate-level posts is carried out in multiple stages. Candidates must qualify each stage to move to the next. The detailed selection process is as follows:

1. Computer Based Test (CBT) – Stage 1
   • This is the first screening test for all applicants.
   • It includes questions on General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence & Reasoning.
   • Marks of Stage 1 are not counted in the final merit but are used to shortlist candidates for Stage 2.
2. Computer Based Test (CBT) – Stage 2
   • This exam is more detailed and carries higher weightage.
   • Questions are asked from the same subjects but with a higher difficulty level.
   • Marks obtained in Stage 2 are considered for merit preparation.
3. Typing Skill Test / Computer Based Aptitude Test

   • Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) is conducted only for the post of Station Master and Traffic Assistant.
