The recruitment is being conducted for eligible candidates across various trades, including Fitter, Welder, Machinist, Electrician, Painter, Carpenter and other trades.

7.4 × 9.5 = 70.3%

Thus, a CGPA of 7.4 is equivalent to 70.3% for the purpose of calculating eligibility, subject to the applicable rules.

How is Merit Percentage Calculated?

For candidates whose merit is prepared using both Matriculation and ITI marks, the average of the percentage obtained in Class 10th and ITI is considered.

Merit Percentage = (10th Percentage + ITI Percentage) ÷ 2

Example:
If a candidate has scored:

• 10th: 70%
• ITI: 80%

The average will be:

(70 + 80) ÷ 2 = 75%

Therefore, the candidate’s merit percentage would be 75%.

RCF Kapurthala Apprentice Salary/Stipend

Selected candidates for the RCF Kapurthala Apprentice Recruitment 2026 will receive a stipend as per the extant rules and directives issued by the Railway Board from time to time. The exact stipend amount will be governed by the applicable Apprenticeship rules.
